Production

Ewave jetboards are produced and developed in China, although the idea of their creation belongs to Steven George Garner from Canada. The company's initial goal was to create and popularize an advanced electric board with enough power to compete with gasoline surfboards. It was equally important to maintain an affordable price. The first Ewave jetboard was released in 2019 after four years of development. Since then, the company has manufactured all components for its boards on its own. The modular design allows for different functions, options and accessories to be added to the board to meet the rider's demands as much as possible (e.g. installing a hydrofoil on the board). Although Ewave is a Chinese brand, jetboards do not give the impression of copies of well-known world brands and even have some unique characteristics. For example, the patented D30 shock-absorbing material for foot cushions or standard FCS fins with additional removable wheels that attach to the board and make it easier to transport (wheels also have corresponding holes in the company's case).
