Mertek is a brand of electric surfboards, made in China. It belongs to ePropulsion, which develops various products for water sports. These include a line of outboard electric motors for SUP, sailing, fishing and commercial boats, as well as Navatics underwater drones. Mertek is positioned as ecologically clean premium electric surfboards that require virtually no technical maintenance. Its distinguishing features include outstanding design, removable underwater wing, line with handle (great for newbies), and motor in a closed case with emergency shutoff system if the rider falls off the board. In terms of price-quality ratio, Mertek is an excellent choice for beginner riders of any age (including children from 10 years of age) and people up to 80 kg. The inflatable and thus foldable design means minimum space for storage, convenience for transportation and reduced risk of damage. At Mertek, they listen to customer feedback and are constantly looking for new ways to improve their electric surfboards. It should be noted that the first versions of Mertek boards were released under the EasySurf or eSurf S1 names, which confused them with the ESURF Swedish brand. The second generation of inflatable electric surfboards received, together with improved performance, new colors and an updated name S1.
